  • Ryanair announces daily Inverness - Liverpool service to start on 3rd October 2006. Tickets on sale now at www.ryanair.com from £2.49 single, excluding taxes.
  • New Inverness-Newcastle service to start on 5 June 2006 with Eastern Airways. Six return flights a week - Monday to Friday and Sunday - with web fares starting at £99 return at the www.easternairways.com website.
  • New Aer Arann Inverness-Dublin air route announced with four return flights a week between the Highland capital and Ireland from 10 April 2006. The service will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays departing Dublin at 10.30am and Inverness at 12.15pm. Fares from 40.49 one way and 76.75 return, inclusive of taxes and charges. Tickets are on sale now at the www.aerarann.com website.
  • New Eastern Airways Inverness-Leeds Bradford air route announced. Monday-Friday and Sundays from 24 April 2006. Return fares from £99 now available on the www.easternairways.com website.

By Rail
